Den Auftakt des Kumlegaard Cups machte am Freitag erneut der Trail In Hand. Mit insgesamt 22 gemeldeten Pferden war das Starterfeld gut besetzt. An die Spitze setzte sich Enya Oberleitner mit VS The Gladiator. Platz zwei ging an Veronika Barotek mit Ive Been Made, gefolgt von Franca Bartke mit Glow N Bluelite Only auf Rang drei.
Am Samstag stand die Showmanship auf dem Programm. In dieser Prüfung gingen 11 Pferde an den Start. Julia Wran-Schumer konnte sich mit IAmKindOfABigDeal den Sieg sichern. Auf Platz zwei folgte Alexandra Jagfeld mit Martinilicious, vor Franca Bartke mit Glow N Bluelite Only.
Besonders spannend wurde es am Sonntag in der Longe Line. Zwischen dem ersten und dritten Platz lagen am Ende lediglich vier Punkte. Den Sieg holte sich Mark Shaffer mit MadeOnMyBestBehavior. Nina Leiner mit NoTimeLeftOnTheClock belegte Platz zwei, gefolgt von Alexandra Jagfeld mit Martinilicious auf dem dritten Rang.
Der Kumlegaard Young Horse Cup 2026 geht an Martinilicious!
Mit einem deutlichen Vorsprung von 26 Punkten sicherte sich Alexandra Jagfeld mit der 2023 geborenen Stute den Gesamtsieg. Martinilicious stammt von The Best Martini ab und geht mütterlicherseits auf One Hot Invitation, einen Sohn von Invitation Only, zurück. Gezüchtet wurde sie von Brigitte Pott, im Besitz steht sie bei Anne Lison-Bunge.

The Kumlegaard Cup once again started with the Trail In Hand on Friday. With a total of 22 horses entered, the field was well-represented. Enya Oberleitner took first place with VS The Gladiator. Second place went to Veronika Barotek with Ive Been Made, followed by Franca Bartke with Glow N Bluelite Only in third.
On Saturday, the Showmanship class was on the program. Eleven horses competed in this event. Julia Wran-Schumer took the win with IAmKindOfABigDeal. Alexandra Jagfeld followed second with Martinilicious, ahead of Franca Bartke with Glow N Bluelite Only.
Things got particularly exciting on Sunday in the Longe Line class. In the end, only four points separated first and third place. Mark Shaffer took the win with *MadeOnMyBestBehavior*. Nina Leiner with *NoTimeLeftOnTheClock* took second place, followed by Alexandra Jagfeld with *Martinilicious* in third.
The 2026 Kumlegaard Young Horse Cup goes to *Martinilicious*!
With a clear advantage of 26 points, Alexandra Jagfeld took the overall win with the mare born in 2023. Martinilicious is by The Best Martini and goes back on her dam’s side to One Hot Invitation, a son of Invitation Only. She was bred by Brigitte Pott and is owned by Anne Lison-Bunge.
